Hassle in the Castle
Fred: Here it is, gang. Rocky Point Beach.
Daphne: What a groovy spot for a beach party.
Shaggy: Yeah, man. I can already taste those chocolate-covered hot dogs.
Velma: Yuck! His stomach must be made of scrap iron.
Shaggy: Can I help it if my first toy was a garbage disposal?
Fred: Come on, gang. Let's unload.
Shaggy: Alright.
Velma: Okay. I'll give Daphne the boxes.
Daphne: Hurry up!
Shaggy: Hey, like, where's Scooby-Doo? He's supposed to be helping me.
Daphne: He went surfing.
Scooby-Doo: Scooby-Doo!
Shaggy: Okay! Come and get it! Oh, no!
Fred: Hey, what's with Scooby-Doo?
Shaggy: Zoinks! A seagoing ghost!
Fred: Shaggy, come back!
Velma: Shaggy, come out of that umbrella.
Shaggy: No. Uh-uh. Did you see what I saw?
Fred: Yeah, we saw it and we're going back to find out what it was.
Shaggy: Swell. I'll wait here. And when you find out, send me a telegram.
Daphne: We won't have to. Look! It's gone!
Scooby-Doo: Whew-ee!
Velma: There's something mighty spooky going on around here.
Fred: Yeah, and I wonder what it is.
Fred: Hey, gang, listen to this: "Another Boat Mysteriously Vanishes. Sheriff and Coast Guard are baffled by the mysterious disappearances."
Velma: "Beach hermit Ebenezer Shark claims it was the ghost of Captain Cutler who stole it."
Shaggy: Ghost?
Scooby-Doo: Ghost?
Daphne: Do you think that's what we saw last night?
Fred: I don't know, but maybe that beach hermit Ebenezer Shark can give us a clue.
Velma: Then let's pay him a visit, tonight.
Ebenezer Shark: Aye! I seen him with me very own eyes. A ghostly glow moving through the fog just before the boats vanish.
Fred: But what makes you think it was the ghost of Captain Cutler?
Ebenezer Shark: Because it was on a foggy night such as this that Captain Cutler's boat was wrecked. It collided with one of them fancy yachts from the marina sending Cutler down to the graveyard of ships.
Scooby-Doo: Huh?
Ebenezer Shark: But before he disappeared into the sea he shouted that he would return.
Fred: So by causing the yachts to vanish from the marina, Cutler's getting his revenge.
Ebenezer Shark: Aye.
'Scooby-Doo: 'Huh?
Daphne: Hey, it's Scooby!
Fred: Come on!
Shaggy: Zoinks! It's that ghost again!
Velma: That's no ghost! It's just Scooby-Doo!
Ebenezer Shark: It looks like your pooch found me old diving suit.
Fred: Diving suit?
Ebenezer Shark: Aye. Now, if you want to know any more about Cutler, I think you'd better see his wife up at the old lighthouse.
Velma: There's something mighty fishy about Ebenezer Shark.
Daphne: I'll say there is.
Shaggy: Yeah. He looks more like a barracuda.
Fred: Listen, Daph and I will stick around here and keep an eye on old Shark. You three go up to the old lighthouse and talk to Widow Cutler.
Scooby-Doo: Old lighthouse?
Fred: Yeah, old lighthouse.
Velma: What a creepy-looking lighthouse.
Shaggy: Okay, Scooby. Go knock on the door.
Scooby-Doo: Right.
Velma: Look at him. What a ham.
Shaggy: I guess it's up to you, Velma.
Velma: It's up to all of us. Now, march!
Shaggy: Uh, ladies first.
Velma: Well, come on!
Shaggy: Wow! Like, this place is furnished in early Halloween.
Velma: It's obvious. She practices witchcraft.
Shaggy: Hey, look at these.
Shaggy: What zoinky labels. "Ear of a newt"?
Scooby-Doo: Hey, what's this?
Shaggy: That? Oh, that's canned hyena laughs.
Shaggy: Look. Witchcraft Made Easy.
Velma: Very interesting.
Shaggy: Velma, who do I know with long, skinny hands?
Mrs. Cutler: Good evening.
Shaggy: Zoinks!
Shaggy: Mrs. Cutler, I presume?
Mrs. Cutler: Aye, I was just tending the light and didn't hear you knock.
Mrs. Cutler: Now, what's your problem?
Velma: It's about Captain Cutler. We think we saw his ghost.
Mrs. Cutler: You did, dearie. It was me and my witchcraft that brought Captain Cutler back from his watery grave.
Velma: Then it's his ghost that's making these yachts vanish?
Mrs. Cutler: Aye. But had I known he'd take his revenge, I'd have left him under the sea.
Scooby-Doo: That's good!
Mrs. Cutler: You'll pardon me doing the wash, dearie.
Scooby-Doo: Yuck!
Velma: Well, we have to go now. Thanks for your help.
Mrs. Cutler: Anytime, dearie. Anytime.
Shaggy: Am I glad to get out of that scary pad.
Scooby-Doo: Me too. Yuck!
Velma: Now, our next step is to find the ghost.
Shaggy: I think he's found us. Look!
Velma: Come on! After that glow!
Velma: It's in that drainpipe.
Shaggy: Well, it got away, so let's go.
Velma: Come here!
Velma: Scooby will go in after it.
Shaggy: Oh, that's different.
Scooby-Doo: Me?
Shaggy: Yes, you. You're the only one that can squeeze into that drainpipe.
Scooby-Doo: Uh-uh, too fat.
Velma: Too fat?
Velma: Would you squeeze in for a Scooby Snack?
Scooby-Doo: Uh-uh. Uh-uh. Uh-uh! Uh-huh!
Scooby-Doo: Scooby-Doo!
Shaggy: Like, wow! Glowing seaweed!
Velma: It looks like you found a clue, Scooby-Doo.
Scooby-Doo: Well, Scooby-Dooby-Doo!
Shaggy: Did you find anything?
Velma: Here it is. Phosphorum pyrifora.
Shaggy: Like, speak English.
Velma: A phosphorus-glowing seaweed found only in the area known as the "graveyard of ships."
Daphne: That's where Captain Cutler went down.
Fred: Then maybe that's where we'll find his ghost and the answer to our mystery.
Velma: But what about Ebenezer Shark?
Fred: I don't know, but he headed for the marina about an hour ago.
Shaggy: I wonder what he's up to.
Fred: There it is. The graveyard of ships.
Shaggy: I don't like it.
Daphne: Hey, look. A bottle.
Velma: And there's a note inside.
Fred: Well, what does it say?
Shaggy: No deposit, no return.
Velma: Big help.
Fred: We're getting close.
Fred: Keep a sharp lookout for anything suspicious.
Daphne: Look! One of the yachts from the marina!
Fred: Hey, there's no one aboard and the motor's not running.
Shaggy: Then, like, what's making it go?
Velma: Ghost power.
Shaggy: I was afraid you'd say that.
Fred: Come on. Let's follow it.
Fred: It's going into that cove, and there's no way out.
Fred: Hey, something's wrong.
Daphne: It's gone!
Velma: Vanished into thin air!
Shaggy: It's, like, weirdo!
Fred: Well, like I always say: "Onward and downward." To the graveyard of ships, that is.
Daphne: We're all set.
Fred: Except for Scooby.
Velma: Oh, come down from there!
Fred: Hey Scooby, there's nothing to be afraid of.
Shaggy: I'll get him down.
Shaggy: Zoinks!
Scooby-Doo: Howdy do!
Shaggy: Howdy do, yourself! Help!
Shaggy: Like, wow! What a spooky place.
Velma: It's a perfect home for that seagoing ghost.
Fred: Well, if we're going to find any ghosts, we'd better split up.
Fred: You guys go that way and we'll go this way.
Shaggy: Okay.
Daphne: Look! What's that?
Velma: Could that be Captain Cutler?
Fred: It could be, but there's only one way to find out. Let's go inside.
Velma: Well, is it him?
Fred: No. Look at that old-fashioned diving suit. He's been down here a hundred years.
Velma: The door!
Fred: We're trapped!
Scooby-Doo: Hey, Shaggy, look.
Scooby-Doo: Scuba tanks, uh-oh!
Shaggy: Scooby-Doo? Scooby-Doo, where are you?
Scooby-Doo: Hey, Shaggy? I found a clue! I found a clue!
Shaggy: You found a clue?
Shaggy: Zoinks!
Shaggy: This cannon is loaded. There's a fuse in it.
Shaggy: Fire!
Shaggy: Like, no fire. I forgot matches don't light underwater.
Shaggy: Hold still, Scooby!
Scooby-Doo: I am!
Scooby-Doo: Hey, scram! Shoo! Go! Uh-oh!
Fred: Nice going!
Daphne: We thought we'd never get out of this creepy cabin.
Shaggy: Well, like, we never thought we'd lose that ghost.
Velma: Then you saw him too? He's the one that locked us in.
Fred: So we haven't had a chance to find any clues.
Scooby-Doo: I found a clue! I found a clue!
Velma: You? You found a clue?
Scooby-Doo: Follow me.
Daphne: It's a secret storehouse of scuba tanks.
Fred: Yeah, and all ready to use.
Velma: Things are beginning to add up.
Shaggy: You mean like two and two are five?
Velma: More than that. I'd like to get a close look at that ghost.
Daphne: How can we? He's gone.
Fred: But his trail's not. Look. Glowing footprints. Now all we gotta do is follow them.
Velma: The footprints vanish right into the side of the cliff.
Fred: Well, if my sense of direction is right, this is the same area where that yacht from the marina vanished.
Daphne: Now what do we do?
Shaggy: Like, rest. I'm pooped.
Shaggy: Hey! I'm sinking!
Daphne: Look! A secret passage!
Fred: You're right! Shaggy, you're a genius!
Shaggy: I am?
Velma: Sure. Who else but you could've sat down on the rock that opened the secret passage?
Shaggy: I thought that rock was pretty suspicious.
Fred: Come on, gang. Let's go inside.
Shaggy: Wow! Wow-ee! We're in a giant underground cavern!
Shaggy: Man! Lookie there! Like, get a load of those yachts.
Fred: Yeah, and they're being painted over in different colors.
Daphne: Hey, look at that yacht. It's the one that vanished in the cove.
Fred: And look! It's tied to a minisub.
Velma: It's just as we suspected and these clues prove it.
Daphne: Then I guess this wraps up our mystery.
Shaggy: That is, if we can wrap up the ghost.
Fred: Not wrap him up, Shaggy, suds him up.
Shaggy: Hurry up, Fred. No telling when "glowing gruesome" will show up.
Velma: I'm ready with the fire hose.
Fred: Okay, everybody?
Daphne: I hope your contraption works.
Fred: It's a cinch. We put a bar of soap in this spray container. Attach it to this fire hose turn on the water, and instant suds.
Velma: And see that ramp? The ghost comes down it, we suds it up, he slips and we hose him right over into that net.
Shaggy: Then we hoist him high as a Christmas goose.
Fred: Okay, gang. Start Operation Noisemaker.
Fred: Here he comes. Let him have it!
Shaggy: Woah! Woah! Woah! W-W-Woah!
Scooby-Doo: Huh?
Velma: Scooby!
Daphne: He can't see where he's going!
Scooby-Doo: Huh?
Daphne: Scooby, are you all right?
Scooby-Doo: Uh-huh.
Fred: Now, let's see if our mystery ghost diver is really Ebenezer Shark.
Velma: It's not him.
Daphne: Then who is it?
Shaggy: I got it! Does this seaweed help remind you of that picture on Widow Cutler's wall?
Scooby-Doo: Huh?
ALL: Captain Cutler!
Fred: Hey, listen to this, gang: "Teenage Sleuths Solve Boat Hijacking Mystery. Captain Cutler and his wife taken into custody by sheriff."
Velma: That was some plan they had. First, spreading the phony story about Cutler and then stealing the yachts from the marina.
Daphne: That night on the beach, Cutler was storing extra scuba tanks in the graveyard of ships.
Shaggy: Yeah, but, like, his diving suit got covered with that kooky glowing seaweed.
Fred: And that's where the glowing ghost story came from.
Velma: Well, that closes the mystery.
Daphne: How did Scooby do that?
Fred: I guess that's another mystery.
